 Producing Your Products and Services

Any organization produces a product or service to exchange with the public for money or other consideration. The purpose of building an organization is to enable the production and delivery of its products for value.

As you expand you need more and more of an organization to support the weight of your expansion. It is critical that the quality of your organization's products and services remain excellent as you expand.

An organization has various divisions that products the sub-products that go into a final product. For example if you build telephone handsets you need to procure materials for building your phones, an assembly line to assemble them together, a distribution division that constantly generates qualified prospects that are interested in your products, a sales division to sell your products, a treasury division to bill and collect all your collections, etc.

All these divisions create sub-products that enable your valuable final product to be made and exchanged with your particular "public" (people, groups or organizations that are interested in your products or services).

Each subdivision has statistics of what it produces. Your Products (or Technical) division is critically important in creating a quality product or service. As things get busy due to rapid expansion this division must be manned accordingly to keep the quality standard and enable production to keep up with generated demand without any loss of quality.

Training for staff working in the production division is critical in ensuring they know what they are doing and maintaining a superior products / service.

All the expansion generated through organizing your organization can go to waste if you can't create your product to meet the demand or if you create an inferior product as all new clients will notice the reduction in quality.

It is important to keep a specific ratio of production / technical personnel to administrative personnel as the organization expands and to ensure the training of the staff is standard and that they are able to create a superior product / service.
